Combustion problems generally involve complicated geometries, Complex physics, heat transfer and fluid flow. In such a challenging environment the benefits from CFD modeling since combustion systems are extremely costly to build and test. CFD can be an valuable tool to model the performance of different designs, perform parametric studies and virtual prototype each design before actual fabrication.

ESI-CFD uses and provides a complete interactive analysis package called CFD-ACE for CFD analysis. CFD-ACE+ consists of the following modules:

CFD-GEOM : for geometric modeling and grid generation for structured and unstructured grids

CFD-ACE : a parallel, pressure-based code employing AMG and CG solvers

CFD-VIEW : for graphical post-processing
